Your First Ten Seconds
Most people open an AI video tool and try to make a trailer. Three shots of one person in one room is the smallest thing that contains the whole craft — and if those three join, length is only repetition.

What is actually in it
- The five things every shot prompt must state, in the order that makes a model obey them
- Three shots written out in full, with the camera and the light named — the reason they cut together rather than merely sitting next to each other
- A worksheet for your own three, to fill in before you spend a single credit
- What to do when the face changes, the light jumps, or the tool ignores the camera — by cause, not by guesswork
Stop after three failed attempts at a shot. The scene is asking for something the tool cannot give you today, and a cut to her hands usually plays better anyway.
Where the rest lives
These five pages are one chapter's worth. The complete method — seventeen chapters from what the words mean to a finished short film across seven sessions, with character and world consistency, rights and disclosure, and a fault-finding guide — is in The AI Filmmaker Blueprint.
